Information
The Santa Cruz 1 hydroelectric plant has been operating since February 2009 in the Peruvian department of Ancash, northeast of Lima, at 2,013 meters above sea level, in the Blanco River basin (Santa Cruz), downstream from the Santa Cruz 2 plant.
It has a total installed capacity of 6.0 MW and feeds the National Interconnected Electric System (SEIN) through a 2 km long transmission line.
