Information
They are the first hydroelectric projects fully developed by LAP in Chile. Their construction began in the first half of 2014 and they have been operating since February 2016. The construction of these plants was awarded to Constructora Icafal.
They have an installed capacity of 29.0 MW (19.8 Carilafquén and 9.2 MW Malalcahuello). The interconnection system works through a transmission line with a length of 121.6 km, connecting to the SIC through the Río Toltén elevator substation.
