The former CFO of the company took the position in replacement of Diego Hollweck, who performed as general manager of LAP for more than five years.  

On February 28th, our former general manager, Diego Hollweck, left the company to take on new professional challenges after five years in the company. Therefore, we are pleased to inform that the commercial engineer and master’s in finance from the Adolfo Ibáñez University, Esteban Moraga, assumed as general manager in his replacement.

Esteban Moraga, who has performed the role of Finance Director in LAP since 2017, has more than 14 years of experience in various industries such as industrial logistics, ports ,and energy, starting his career at the British American Tobacco Chile Company, to afterwards work in different companies related to the Ultramar Group.

In that regard, the new general Manager of Latin America Power, along with thanking Diego Hollweck for his leadership, emphasized that "As a company we have the challenge of continuing to consolidate the work we have developed both in Chile and Peru, highlighting the different cornerstones in terms of sustainability, care for the environment and relationship with the communities that surround us. With this, we seek to continue contributing clean energy to the grid of both countries, through our vision of sustainable business”.

Finally, we also want to thank Diego Hollweck for his successful leadership during all these years, which allowed us to achieve important goals, like the reopening of the Carilafquén – Malalcahuello Hydroelectric plant, the restructuring and consolidation of our business in Peru, refinancing of our Eolic parks and consolidate the relation with our stakeholders.
