Wind Farm that started its development in 2012, after more than 5 years of wind measurements. It began construction in the first half of 2015 and completed construction and commissioning in December 2016. In March 2017, commercial operation was achieved before the National Electric Coordinator (at that time, CDEC-SIC).
The total installed capacity of the farm is 193.2 MW distributed in 56 wind turbines of Vestas brand, model V117 of 3.45 MW each. The energy produced is injected into the Punta Colorada substation through a 220 kV, 83.6 km transmission line.

COASTAL AREA SOUTH OF THE COMMUNE OF FREIRINA, IN THE PROVINCE OF VALLENAR, ATACAMA REGION, APPROXIMATELY 60 KM SOUTH OF THE PORT OF HUASCO AND 55 KM IN A STRAIGHT LINE WEST OF THE NATIONAL POWER SYSTEM.
