Information
Wind Farm located in the commune of Canela, Coquimbo Region, at kilometer 296 of Route 5 North. It was built under the Non-Conventional Renewable Energy Law (ENRC) and contributes all of its power to the National Electric System (SEN). Totoral was registered in December 2010 under the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. The wind farm has 23 Vestas wind turbines, model V90, 2 MW each, 80 meters high and 90 meters in diameter. The total installed capacity of the wind farm is 46 MW.
