To this end, every year Women in Energy seeks to integrate a diverse group of women with different technical knowledge and experiences to contribute to the energy debate and propose innovative solutions in the sector.
In this regard, Cristina Zúñiga stressed that, "although there is more and more awareness of the important work that women do in the industry, these spaces give us the tools to continue working along these lines. I am very proud to face this new challenge, in the face of which I hope to best represent the values and vision that we have at LAP regarding this matter."
This 2024, the 6th Generation will have 25% of representatives from regions such as Osorno, Valparaíso, Concepción, Temuco, Calama and Antofagasta. And while the bulk of the group is from Chile, it will also have professionals from Venezuela, Peru, Portugal, Argentina and a woman from Colombia, who currently resides in Bogota.
It should be noted that LAP has been participating in and directly supporting this program since 2022 and was previously part of the 5th generation of Women In Energy through the representation of its Human Resources manager, Fabiola Cuello.
